Workflows can be triggered either automatically or manually.
- An automatic Trigger will trigger the Workflow anytime the conditions in the Trigger are met. Click "edit" to edit the conditions for this Workflow's Trigger. Automatic triggers are highly recommended because then there are no (or few) balances that are in "Needs Workflow" status with no one working them.
- A manual trigger means that you (or an Admin) manually trigger the Workflow from the AR Aging or Workflows page . You can use this option if you're not sure what automatic trigger to create.
Switch a Trigger from Automatic to Manual, or vice versa
- login to ARproactive.com > Login > Workflow Automation
- go to Workflow Templates
- Click the Workflow Template name to expand it.
- Under the column labelled Trigger, click "Manual" or "Automatic"
- Select "Manual" or "Automatic"
- if the "Edit Automatic Trigger Rule" popup appears to make a new trigger just "x" it closed
- Click "Save Workflow"
- Next: our Dev Team will turn on the automatic trigger on the backend.
