Creating Tasks

  1. Click "Create task" button on any page it appears
  2. Select what to associate the Task with.
    1. Tasks can be associated with Residents, Balances, or Buckets, and other objects.  
  3. Enter a Task name and description
  4. Click "Assigned to" and select the name of the assignee.
  5. Enter the Due date
  6. Click Save

What happens next?

  • This Task will appear in the Task Inbox of the person you assigned it to (the assignee).
  • The assignee will also be sent an email telling them that a Task has been assigned to them. An email reminder will be sent 3 days before the Due date, and on the day of the Due date, if the Task is still in progress.
  • The Task will not be listed in the notifications under the bell icon (at the top right of the screen).  The bell icon is only for @ mentions, when users @ mention each other in notes.
